What are your favorite smartphone apps?
Google Calendar, Expensify, ColorNote, and ToDo Task Manager to keep me organized

What is your favorite Web site or a favorite YouTube video?
Facebook- it is a great way to stay connected with friends, classmates, and colleagues around the world.

What do you do when you’re not interpreting?
I am currently working on my Master’s degree and serving on the VRID board as the District I (Northern Virginia) Representative. I am also an avid photographer and love to travel.

What is the best advice you have ever received? 
Never stop learning!

Who is your interpreter idol?
That’s a tough one- I’ve been blessed with lots of amazing mentors.

What is the best part about your job?
I love the flexibility and all of the wonderful people- interpreters and consumers- that I am able to meet and work with. I also feel very privilaged to be working in the Nation’s Capitol.

What is something most of your colleagues don’t know about you?
I have a fraternal twin sister who also lives in the D.C. area.

What are you most looking forward to at this moment?
My husband and I are planning a cruise to celebrate our five-year wedding anniversary.
