JOI

The Journal of Interpretation (JOI), published under RID Publications, publishes articles, research reports, and commentaries relevant to the interpreting field. The Journal reflects a broad, interdisciplinary approach to the interpretation and translation of languages. The Journal expressly desires to serve as a forum for the cross-fertilization of ideas from diverse theoretical and applied fields, examining signed or spoken language interpretation and translation.

The value of The Journal is dependent upon the quality of submissions we receive from the interpreting field. This is an excellent opportunity for you to share your depth of knowledge and expertise with your fellow interpreter and a readership of more than 12,000 individuals.

A complimentary copy of The Journal is distributed to each member of RID at the time of publication, typically in the spring or summer of each year.
