Appointment Process

  • A member-wide “call for committee members” announcement is made, which is published in several issues of VIEWS.
  • Interested members are asked to submit a copy of their resume and a cover letter along with the committee application (PDF)
  • The deadline for committee applications is July 1, 2007
  • The appointment process occurs during the years of the RID National Biennial Conference, starting in the early spring of odd-numbered years (2007, 2005, 2003, etc.)
  • All committee members are appointed by the RID President with the advice and consent of the board of directors.
  • The official committee appointment letters are mailed out in August after the national conference.
