Test Sites, Dates & Procedures
Tests are offered around the country throughout the year. Pencil and paper written tests and performance tests are offered at RID test sites and proctored by Local Test Administrators (LTAs). Computer based tests are offered at test sites managed by CASTLE Worldwide, Inc. Learn more about test site procedures>>

Computer-Based Tests
This is offered for the NIC Knowledge exam through CASTLE Worldwide, Inc.
Once a candidate has applied and paid for the test, s/he will receive a receipt letter (via postal mail or e-mail). The receipt letter will direct the candidate to CASTLE’s website, where s/he can register for his or her preferred site, date and time.
The candidate will receive a confirmation email from CASTLE in three to five business days.

Performance Tests
These are offered at supersites.
Once a candidate has received a receipt letter from RID, s/he should contact the supersite of his or her choice to schedule a testing date.
The NIC Interview and Performance exam is only offered at supersites.
