This is an ideal track for individuals who are pre-certified and aspire to achieve RID NIC certification, or for practicing interpreters who seek a skills immersion experience that will boost their day-to-day practice. Skills addressed are based on data collected from NIC performance exam feedback and diagnostic assessment data available from the National Consortium of Interpreter Education Centers [NCIEC]. This track will be conducted in ASL-only, so targeted participants are those individuals dedicated to advancing their skills by creating an inclusive environment where Deaf and hearing trainers and participants can collaborate together easily using their shared language of ASL. This track welcomes 200 registrants.
