RID is excited to honor the 2017 recipient, Sego Lily Center for the Abused Deaf (SLCAD), based out of Salt Lake City! SLCAD focuses on providing and “promoting a safe and empowered community for the Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Deaf-Blind people by providing culturally accessible services, advocacy, and education” (sclad.org).
