Daryl G. Crouse, Esq., is a practicing attorney and sign language interpreter in Long Beach, California. His roots in the community sprang from his time (’90) at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. Daryl has a law degree (J.D.) and a degree in small business entrepreneurship (B.S.). Daryl holds the Certificate of Interpretation (CI) and Certificate of Transliteration (CT). He received the Outstanding Service Provider award from the Lowcountry Chapter of the Deaf in Charleston, South Carolina. Daryl has chaired and served on several local, state and national committees. He owned an interpreting service firm for over ten years. Daryl also started a fledgling telecommunications company where he advocated for modernization of the VRS regulatory schema to introduce interoperability, E911, interpreting best practices and inclusion of Deaf interpreters in the video relay industry.
